Ultrasound examination of arteries in the lower or upper limbs (1 region per limb)

The examination of limb arteries allows the detection of calcified or soft plaques, which can gradually narrow the vessels and cause circulation problems in the affected limb.
By assessing blood flow around the plaques, circulation abnormalities or the degree of narrowing can be determined.
Identifying the causes can help slow down or stop plaque formation, and advanced narrowing can be treated surgically to prevent complete blockage. This can also resolve symptoms such as leg cramps during activity or cold-feeling limbs.
